Erin Harner has lived in Upstate New York most of her life and has been interested in health and wellness as long as she can remember. While pursuing her Masters degree in the biomedical sciences and working long hours in the lab and the hospital, Erin began to realize that the conventional medical paradigm of ‘sick’ care was not focused the least bit on health. She attained certification at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition in New York City as a health and nutrition counselor in order to fulfill her passion of supporting people to overcome their health challenges, manage stress, achieve their goals for their health, and live life to the fullest.
The areas of digestion and digestive disorders, food intolerance and gluten sensitivity, eating for optimal athletic performance, stress management, and working with kids and families are her specialties. She combines knowledge of all of the different dietary theories including traditional philosophies and modern concepts like the glycemic index, acid-alkaline balance, food allergy elimination, and raw and super foods. She offers individual and group health and nutrition counseling, as well as workshops on nutrition, health, corporate wellness, and therapeutic grade essential oils.
When Erin is not ‘working’, you can find her traveling the world, biking, hiking, camping, tending her veggie garden, spending time with friends and family, and of course in the kitchen trying new foods and inventing new recipes!
